I went and picked up my '92 240 from the shop yesterday, they swapped in an 80K mile KA engine/tranny with new spec stage 1 clutch in it. The labor was so cheap I couldn't resist letting them get dirty for me. When I picked up the car they hadn't swapped my MAFS so I drove back in and got them to give me another one and I got a '93 ECU while I was at it.

The day before yesterday I went to pick up my old engine/tranny for parts and I saw the whole rear end of a 240 in the warehouse and the owner said he was about to throw it out since they just pulled it from one car to put in an LSD. He threw it on the back of my truck for free, whole rear end, diff, axles, hubs (no disks), suspension, everything out of a 120K mile car, nothing wrong with it.

The car is running great, I just have to get some balanced tires on it.

My dad called last night and told me that that morning he had gone to the junk yard looking for parts for me (no good pull your own parts yards around here) and he picked up these items out of a '93:
-front seats (no tears)
-gauge cluster with HUD
-entire dash (no cracks)
-a/c control
-all switch panels and vents
-center console
-flip opne cover on center console
-miscellaneous other small interior parts

The guy only charged him $50 for everything. I'm excited.

I drive a '92 Nissan 240sx LE coupe. The car has 217K miles on it with a near perfect body. I just had an 80K mile engine/tranny put in it so it runs good now, but the interior isn't that great. My seats are ripped, dash has a small crack, my HUD isn't working, A/C control works fine, but the buttons have paint missing from wear, etc...

This $50 worth of used parts will put my interior to near new condition.
