R230 diff or R200 VLSD housing?

Aren't R230s from Z32? If it's from a GTR I'm pretty certain it's an R200.

I have two questions..

#1 Is it just a simple drop in, into a open s13 diff?

#2 If so, how much shipped to 93550?

I honestly have no idea, I picked it up with a number of other things from a guy in Okinawa around a year ago. I got a good deal on it. Hence I am passing on the good deal.
It looks to be in decent shape.

R230V differentials came on Z32TT's and Q45's. Skylines had R200's

As far as installing it goes. You cannot use stock open diff output shafts. It needs LSD output shafts. Now honestly this is all the info I have on it. I am selling it for $250. You can either buy it or not.

Oh and if anyone really wants it p.m. me.

I'm not sure you know what you have. If it is in fact out of a GTR then it is a R230 and will not work in a R200 or anything else other than a GTR or Z32 TT housing. Is it a Nismo or is it a stock GTR diff? It's a great upgrade for someone making alot of power either way but you need the GTR housing, output shafts, and half shafts to go with it if you're wanting to put it into any S-chassis.

Ahem R32GTR's used the R200 diff. This is a 2 way so it came from Nismo.

My suggestion to you is this. Since you have no interest in purchasing you contact me in private, if you think you have info that can help my sale.

yes and yes R230=Z32
GT-R Rear Diff is a R200

You are wrong.

You need to discuss this stuff in private because at this point you are shitting on my thread.

i found this

I started this off just talking about R32's only, but we've managed to intertwine the R33's and R34's in the thread. So let's try to straighten this out a bit.
GT-R differential run down
R32 - 89-94: LSD only until V-spec added late 93, V-spec II added in 02/94 ----R200 sized Diff
R33 - 95-96: LSD or V-spec II option ---- R200 sized diff
R34 - 97-99: LSD or V-spec II option ---- R200 sized diff
now only 1,453 V-spec's were made up to 94 and only 1,303 V-spec II's were made up to 94, so yes they are very rare. After 94 I haven't found the Data on sales of the V-spec GT-R's but when I do I'll post them.
I do not think the $199 ones on E-bay are Viscous, they are way too cheap and look exactly like the reg LSD in my picture.... If they are VSPEC and we can confirm BUY THEM....
