I want to post a GB for Santeca HID kits but I have been unable to get permission to post it. I followed the directions posted in the groupbuy forum and sent several e-mails to [email protected] but have never received any response.

Snipped from GB section:

No Commercial Selling, if your selling commercial Group Buy then please contact Mark West at [email protected] for advertising information and learn about our Commercial Group Buys/Deals section on the main website. (This section is currently being finished)

Please let me know what I need to do! You can delete this post if you want I just wanted to be sure and get West's attention.....

EDIT: Just read the groupbuy section of the website.... LOL So can I just send the money without contacting you first? I'm a bit confused between the 2 sets of directions. Thanks!!

Do you have a site where we can get more info on the HID kit you're selling?

http://www.santeca.com/hid/main.htm

lets all keep this in mind people.

Higher the Lumens the more bright it is. the Higher the Kelvin means it will get more purple/blue which also means u have less lumens which means less light

soo

4300K is the brightest kit u can get.

There is also some info on my website (link below) but I am about to add more tonight or tomarrow. I will also be adding a how-to for installing the kit before the GB is over.

I will get some pics and post them up on my webpage of the differant Kelvins. I have the 4300's in my Silvia conversion and they are awsome. The main reason I wanted to do this GB was how much I liked them! I was able to get a pretty good price because they are new to the market and they want to get some more exposure. I wont post any prices here, I will wait and do it correctly so that Zilvia.net gets the money they deserve for hosting the GB. It doesnt officially start until Friday anyways and I will be posting all the info to my webpage prior to that.

Thanks!!

oberkill,

did u have to splice the kit into ur existing wiring harness for ur s13 conversion?

i know ill have to do some splicing to make it work with my s15 conversion since *cough* super street *cough* did a write up on how to work the santeca thunderbeam kit with his s15 conversion. might i add it was a VERY poor HOW TO article. i have yet to know how to adjust my beam with these s15 headlights..be very scary to have them on and they shine skyhigh right into other peoples faces!

Please get a fixed price and let me know soon. I might be interested if the price is reasonable for a h4 kit.
Am I able to use this or modify it to work with a conversion if ever done. I.E. s15, silvia, etc.

is this kit feasible to use in an h4 housing for the s13 pop-ups?

oberkill

sykikchimp - Yes you can use it if you have a H4 housings on the S13.

azn_romeox - The prices are set already if you want to know what they are you can PM me or drop me a e-mail at [email protected] and I'll send them to you.

You can modify it to use on any car but if the bulb is differant in the new setup you will have to buy another bulb.

id be happy to reply to ur threads :D its okay i did a lot of research on HID and all that junk already

azn_romeox: the H4 kit is dual filment i think Hi/Low in one bulb. if u do a S15 conversion that H4 kit u bought will no longer work. ud have to buy either 1] a New kit [H1 cuz thats wat S15 headlights use] or 2] u buy new bulbs and splice things together to make them work.

i have a S14 with S15 conversion. i Have to buy the H1 kit. y? becuz thats the size of the bubls the S15 headlights use. of course the wiring harness wont match up wiht the H4 harness but thats y im going to have to splace things together to make them work. only way to get around it.

sykikchimp: ur situation is the same as azn_romeox. im sure S13s dont use H4 right? of course not thats y they have the H4 kits [duh me]..so if u were to buy a kit and u have ALREADY done the H4 conversion..u would need to buy the H4 HID kit and start splicing

oberkill go ahead and correct me if im worng on anything. i dont wanna give out wrong info

Nope you are good. I need to do a little research on switching from a H4 to a H1 and I'll post tomarrow with the results of that. I will just call the Santeca techs and ask them.... LOL

I will try to get the How-to with pics up on Sunday. It is a very easy kit to install. I will also have closeup pics of all the components.
