View Full Version : CA Interest Check - Brembo GT Big Brakes

I have a Brembo Gran Turismo front big brake system for a 5-lug 240SX.
Specs:
GT1 4-Piston calipers (F50-Type) - Red
Drilled 2-piece vented 332x32mm rotors (13" rotors)

This type:
http://www.tirerack.com/images/brakes/brembo/gt_styles/style_3.jpg

The kit is obviously complete with all mounting hardware, pads, stainless lines, etc. It's currently still on my car.

I also have a set of Endless Blue brake pads to replace the Brembo GT pads, both sets would come with the deal. The Endless Blue pads are more of a track compound, so I currently have the stock Brembo's on there.

Here's the deal, the kit was installed on the car but has seen minimal mileage, as the car was a Modified Magazine project car. It spent most of its time being trailered around, and had never seen a track day, or any type of shake-down run.

I bought the car this spring and have taken it out to about 5 AutoX events. The brakes are bigger than I need to stay competitive, and I'd like to see them go to someone who will utilize them more than me.

This kit has seen less than 1/4 set of pads.....so it's pretty well unused.

I'm not overly motivated to sell the kit, as it is one of the best products on the market. I would however be interested in selling it, or a partial trade if anyone is genuinely interested.

I would want to replace the kit with an excellent condition Z32 front brake setup, with stainless lines and a good set of pads & rotors.
I could think about other suitable big brake kits that perform well, you can shoot me what you have if you're interested in upgrading to this kit.

Other things that I'm interested in include:
- S15 Spec R Helical differential with output shafts, and in pumpkin if applicable.
- Bottom mount turbo manifold for a GT2871R. My Full Race manifold broke, and I need to replace the stock manifold soon. I don't want anything that's well used, as it would probably be in the same boat at the Full Race manifold pretty soon.
- Any interesting trades for an SR20DET S14

The MSRP on this kit is $3195.00 and the Endless pads are a couple hundred bucks a set as far as I know. I won't entertain offers of $1000 for the kit, and even though I have an interest check thread for cash + trades, I'll gladly keep the brakes and use them if nobody is genuinely interested.

Feel free to pm me with any interesting trades and parts, I'm open to offers. Here's some additional info on the kit. (Style 3C)

That's only $34.00 though. I'm offering over $300. I think you are trying to pull a fast one on me, for those covers.

Dude, good luck. Really.

That'd definitely be worth $1000 to someone looking for big brakes like Wilwoods, etc, and wanted to stick with a 13" caliper to clear 17" wheels. GLWS.

Umm I don't know what rock you live under, but Full-Race manifolds have a lifetime warranty on them.

The warranty is non-transferable.
And why don't you stand up on your rock and tell me which of their current manifolds for the SR20 is a bottom mount. Hope you can see from up there.

Take it to an authorized dealer, they will take care of it for you, we've sent more then one back to Full-Race and had it repaired and never once asked the customer if they were the original owner, and neither did the reps at Full-Race.

I never said take your bottom mount full-race manifold back from warranty repair, so you can pull your panties out of your mouth and keep your links in your bookmark pages.

And FYI, the view is nice up here, thanks.

Not going to get into the details on the forum, but it's not a regular situation with the manifold that I have. I've spoken with the FR reps, and it's not exactly replaceable right now. Repairing a cracked manifold is not a permanent solution.

I'm not going to argue with you over the internet because you think you're boss on Zilvia. I don't bookmark links either. Thanks for the insight.

Ya these are used so you try to sell them above retail when retail is only like 2k. These are at the most only worth 1k at tops. :barfkiss:

I've literally never seen these under $3K. You must know something that I don't know?

I'm open to offers and trades. I think I may have found something workable now, still accepting offers.
