Although it is an old thread, My kind advice to all is:

Always buy quality HID ballast (http://www.sparkhid.com/pages/204-Nissan-Infinity-OEM-GEN3-GEN4-Matsu-Ballast.php) from a quality dealer.

i found Sparkhid through google and now have saved in my favorites. The site is so easy to find Nissan Ballast (http://www.sparkhid.com/pages/204-Nissan-Infinity-OEM-GEN3-GEN4-Matsu-Ballast.php), which was better quality than OEM!! Easy checkout, timely shipping and the best part, $100 less than the local dealer wanted for the part!! I am in the car business and have found a sweet spot for parts!! Thanks sparkhid
