SIMPLE! It's a Nissan Injector! LOL.

Those things always fucking break, thank god for fucking junkyards.

I got a set of Tomei brand new with broken "pittle:(sp) Luckly the shop has a good rep and replaced them. The OEM I pulled were the same way. i wish I knew the answer.

thats what happened to me when i pulled mine out .. did you hit the tip on anything??

One of the weak points on 90's nissan cars,Probably due to inferior materials being used. Same thing happened on my Acura a while back, fuel and plastic do not mix.

if i recall, it is ok that pintle is broken like that. its purpose is to keep o ring in place, i think.

i pulled a half dozen injectors at the junkyard while i was there, and out of the same engine i found two different types of pintle caps. one is the type in the picture with the four prong things and the other is just a solid single piece. i might match up a set of four with the single piece cap and send those in for cleaning. weird.
