Hey everyone! I recently bolted a CA18DET into my 93 Fastback. I have not done wiring yet or added all my parts yet. These pics are just after I bolted it up and cleaned it a bit so please dont ask "how'd the wiring go?" cuz I havent done it yet, lol. I'm aiming for 275-325whp by June. I'll list the mods later but for now it is secret :D Well, there's quite a few so here it goes!

looks promising!
Props to you for being one of the few who've talked about how they're gonna show that the CA18 was an amazing platform and actually going thru with it (not that I"m pointing fingers at anyone directly... you know who you are BIG Talkers :P hehee)

Seriously tho man, u need some bigger pix, those look like thumbnails :/

The only limit here is filesize which is 1MB. If you'd like, I could delete this thread & you could start over..

BTW: Your car is a base aztec red fastback. Like mine!
Finish removing the black stripe in the front!

So far so good, I say just use your best judgemnet and pick like 3 or 4 pics, no need for the exterior its a stock exterior, it's the engine bay we wanna see.

Good luck with your June project.

Honestly, I just have to post to say I'm amazed here...

"I'll list the mods later but for now it is secret"
"how hard was the swap? what are your plans to make it 300 hp?"

"I have not done wiring yet or added all my parts yet. "
"is it running at the moment?"

Now, it looks like I put the answer first, but in reality the 2nd quote of each set was asked AFTER the first in which their question was already answered.

It never ends...

Anyways, cool pics, good job on the swap...

lol thats cuz a lot of people look at the pics and look for numbers, and don't bother reading around the numbers.

awesome... I took out a loan to buy a CA, but the guy sold it... he is trying to find me another but I don't have much faith in Noyan engines right now, in Manassas VA.
