this question/topic keeps coming up on other web forums...so im going to repost it here...

ive gotten into this topic with tons of other people...the cars numbers were produced on a MUSTANG DYNO...NOT a dynojet...mustang dynos report numbers that are usually 25%-30% lower than a dynojet...however they are closer to real world horsepower numbers...mustang dynos put a heavier load on the car
as per my post on g35driver.com...

S13 SR20det Redtop/Blacktop (1990.5 to 1999) - STOCK - 210 FACTORY CRANK horsepower | 205lbs FACTORY CRANK torque
S13 SR20det Redtop/Blacktop (1990.5 to 1999) - DYNOJET - 160 WHEEL horsepower | 152 WHEEL torque
My SR20det Redtop (from 1994 180sx clip) - CURRENT - 312 to 315 EST. CRANK horespower | 300 to 310lbs EST. CRANK torque
My SR20det Redtop (from 1994 180sx clip) - MUSTANG DYNO - 252 WHEEL horsepower | 248lbs WHEEL torque
now do u understand the difference??? the last time i ran my car on a dyno jet was back in 2004 with minor bolt ons (didnt even have a 3 inch exhaust yet) and i made 190whp...i dont like dynojets...their horsepower numbers do not feel like real world numbers...but for some odd reason the world revolves around bloody dynojets...mustang dynos put a heavier load on the car and report 25-30% less power...but enable you to tune the car to more REAL WORLD numbers and conditions

oi...ok...first off...learn to read (not being a dick)...the car makes 252rwhp on a MUSTANG DYNO...obviously most people have no idea what that is...if you look exactly 5 posts up, there is an explination...if you threw my car on a dyno jet...you would see numbers around 300rwhp...i personally cant stand dyno jets...theyre a waste of time and i dont know why the import world revolves around them...you cant do jack shit for tuning on them and their numbers are always WAY off

the reason the car has such large injects is because i run E85 and i was planning on going with a MUCH larger turbo...again...something most people have no idea about...E85 requires 25-35% more fuel...and side feed injectors are garbage anyways...E85 is about 103-105 octane (depending on the purity of the mixure)...in vegas its dangerous to run pump gas on higher horsepower cars (especially on turbo cars)...its fuking HOT here...knocking/predetonation is a major issue in vegas...the highest NORMAL octane from our pumps is 91 and its CRAP!!! i havent run 91 since 2004 in my SR...i ran 100 octane up until mid 2007 when i switched over to E85 (105 octane for $2.15 a gallon is made of win)

and to answer your other question...a "OneVia" is the USDM coupe style...its how the japanese refer to our cars (and how most USDM coupe drivers refer to their cars)...its the same principal as a "SilEighty"...im not going to argue with you over "oh its not right hand drive, blah blah blah" cause i really dont give a shit about stuff like that anymore...its an easy referece to tell people that i still have flippy lights on my car

no...the car does not come with a free supply of shirts...do you think im made of money or something??? theres a reason im selling my car...unless i get it sold...dorkidori will be shutting down and those fun shirts all of you guys like...guess what...they wont exist anymore

not trying to sound like a dick above...but im just tired of people not reading the information i post...i post it for a reason...its REALLY frustrating when i have to explain myself over and over again when the answer couldve been found thru all of the posts in the thread :faint:
