DVD it is then. I trust what you're saying here because I saw some of his interviews promoting this movie and I thought the same thing. Same jokes from the previews and nothing fresh. I bet most of the lol's were all in the previews too right?

not really, its not all in the previews... there is a lot of stuff i never expected him to do, but i just didnt find it as amusing... or as well-done as the borat movies. bruno imo, has always been the weakest of the characters.

i guess its a good movie if you have interest in him exploiting homophobia... theres a lot of dick in the movie, no joke. you'll all understand if you watch it.

with that said, my friend gave it an 8 of 10.. he loved it. i guess he loves cack.

i dunno.. im curious to see what you all have to say.

i was disappointed. Personally I loved Borat because it was fresh and original. Sadly like you said this is just a cut and paste of Borat with a different character. The amount of dick in the movie was IMO over the top. I definitely think the movie had funny moments, the majority of them were in the previews though :wtf: Overall 6/10

ive been watching sasha cohen since his early stuff in the UK, back bruno was still being developed. only recently did they decide to push the boundaries with uncomfortable homo-type jokes. if you watch his earlier stuff, it was filled with very funny interviews that would embarrass celebrities and celebrity lifestyle. he would make fun of vip club/party lifestyle, fashion and shit like that.

this was just an extreme homo fest, again.. not that theres anything wrong with that, i just didnt really find that type of humor as comical as his well-thought out interviews.

imo, the bruno character needed more development or a better written movie to take advantage of the character, instead of a basic re-write of borat.

The thing about Borat is that it can appeal to more people. Aside from a couple parts, it could be watched my most anyone and played in a public place if one wished.

While watching Bruno all I could think of was, "Wow, oh no they didn't just do/say that".

It kept my attention the whole movie but not by story line, but more towards the way of the shock that it had.

There are already news reports about people being shocked and demanding their money back or some shit like that. So in a way, this movie is doing just what he wanted I'd imagine.

As well as I must say, rated R movies seem MUCH worse now a days than when I was much younger.

I remember when all it took to get rated R was a few sex jokes and some crazy violence.

Shit, I remember when titanic got a R just because they showed like ten seconds of an ounce of titty.

Now we have movies with talking dicks and meatclock going on in them. There was more dick than pussy and titties in this movie.

If I didn't watch it with a girl I could have sworn I paid to see a gay porn.
