I bought this brand new a month ago for JtunedMotorsports. I had it install approximately two weeks and it is begining to leak around the resivour seals and around the level indicator wires. I'm positive its allowing air in the system.

Has anyone run into this? Is there a fix? JtunedMotorsports told me to send it back, but my car is dd and I need it to get to work.

thanks

If it's not sealing, it won't ever seal. Replace it. Send it back, or buy a new one and have them foot the bill if they'll do that.

send them pics of it leaking... then explain it and have him send you a new one.

I had the same problem, and complained to him, and he sent me another one but made me pay for shipping. then the new one started leaking again. and then this morning, i go out to my car and there is a huge ass puddle underneith my car, of brake fluid and the bmc is completely empty. its leaking like it has gonorrhea
this BMC sucks ass something is wrong with it. twice now. I will post pics later today, and show the damage it has done to my paint. someone should be held responsible for that damage....

well i'm an ase certified.... soooo... this is the second time this has happened, first time he replaced it, but made me pay for shipping, $20 and it didn't even come fedex. its been slowly leaking, and then bam this is what i wake up to.... I have paint damage in my engine bay for it eating away from the first time it leaked, and haven't put it on a rack. maybe they're just crappy BMCs, or they have random cases of gonnorrhea http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2647/3889387703_c39f90727b.jpghttp://farm3.static.flickr.com/2559/3890179960_4c36c3698c.jpghttp://farm3.static.flickr.com/2655/3889388569_70f992d9ce.jpghttp://farm4.static.flickr.com/3524/3890183250_9e3ae32541.jpghttp://farm4.static.flickr.com/3502/3889391191_bd8a328f3c.jpghttp://farm3.static.flickr.com/2561/3890186918_ca69d45c99.jpg
as you see in this pic below the seals are hella wet, seals aren't supposed to look like that.

ok so it happened once, and there is always a possibility of getting a defective part, but it happened a second time. i'm pissed,

Yeah I had a leaky master cyl as well. I had attempted to use the one that came from the donor 90' Z32 i still have to repaint the brake booster and firewall now :( .

Just buy one from your local auto parts store. i got a rebuilt/sealed one from Advanced Auto for $75. Full warranty etc..

I bought one from him a couple months ago. Still haven't had the chance the install it as my whole car is getting fully restore + rebuild. Hopefully my BMC will not leak and damage the custom new paint...

Is there anyway to rebuild these or replace the seals just so I can make sure they won't leak??
