opinion on t3t4 turbo

is this a good trade. my ka24 motor for a t3t4 turbo with non brand headers( said to be custom made) and a front mount intercooler. ive never really talked to anyone about the t3 t4 turbo so i dont know how it would respond to my sr. i read that its a hybrid turbo. what the F is that!! someone give me some positive and negative feed back. thanks. oh and its and S14 sr20. would i be better off selling the turbo and others.

T3/4 turbos are older Garrett turbos. T04 compressor wheels with T3 flanged housing. Should be good enough to get you to 350-380 hp depending on the trim and supporting mods.

If it's a Garrett turbo, might be worth it. KA-DE motorsets go for $700+, and ebay T3/T4's go for like $200 + $100 for header and $200 for front mount. So I would say it depends on the quality/condition of the stuff you're getting in trade.

Like Flip said, depending on trims and housings, that could get you 350whp or so.
