American fans of Nissan's fantastic new 370Z can order their cars in Chicane Yellow, but up until now, their counterparts in Blighty have been out of luck if they've wanted a sunburst Z of their own. Until now. That's because Nissan UK has cooked up a special new limited-edition (if unimaginatively named) 370Z Yellow.

Apparently inspired by the Japanese automaker's European GT4 series racers, all Yellows will receive 19-inch forged RAYS alloys, a black leather and suede interior, along with illuminated door sill plates, special floor mats, and so on. Did we mention the bespoke lower body graphics? They remind us of less subtle, billboard-sized versions of the graphics packages on certain Porsche 911s.

Nissan assures that there will be a "strictly limited volume" of Yellows for sale in the UK, with "exclusivity guaranteed." But tellingly, perhaps, the company isn't divulging just how many it plans to produce in the model's press release (available after the jump). If you're interested, prepare to shell out £31,650 (nearly $52,000 USD)
for a six-speed manual or £33,050 for the automatic (just over $54,000 USD - as usual, bear in mind the UK's comparatively inflated pricing structure for new cars).

That has nothing to do with being a Wannabe Porsche sticker. Nissan use to put 240Z on rocker panels of S30's in the early 70's as well. Its actually a throwback
Ya Porsche did it but several car makers beside Porsche did it. For being 31 you are not showing it.

its still ugly. so im not too concerned. it just seems if Nissan is gonna make a special edition, something about it should be special(not just a sticker).

i dont know, the 370z stripe looks more like the Porsche than the 240z. but make your own decision

the vinyls definitely lean a lot closer to the porsche side. cant really blame them though, its hard to be original these days.

Cuz of the damn exchange rate. Put it this way, you pay a $1 for a can of coke in the states. You pay 1 pnd for that same can, but the exchange rate is pretty much $1 per 1 pnd, so you just paid $2 for that can of coke in UK.

31,000 pnds isnt bad for a UK priced car. Just dont do the conversion. Its probably similar to paying $38-40k in the states.

Big Sticker = Fail
In Canada MSRP from Nissan is $40K plus $4K for sport package and $2.5K for Nav
in US its 30K base and 33K with sport package. According to www.XE.com $40K Canadia is = to 37K US so we pay and extra $3,000 for what exactly? Plus the amount of tax we pay on a new ca here is %15.
Its relative I guess but I would come to the US to buy it. I wonder if the warranty would be void once I cross the boarder...
