ok. so just installed my Unorthodox Racing complete pulley set on my KAde. now the distance between the pulleys are shorter than OEM. thus my replacement OEM belt is to long.

ive done research but havent came up with to much.

ive heard..

1. you just measure the new distance and get the corresponding belt from store.
2. some shit that subaru belts work! haha.
3. random .02 comments that dont make sense(damn search engine)

so what experiences do people have with this trouble. i need a definite answer thanks everyone.

When I received my pully, I just measured and got the corresponding belt. IIRC, their part numbers correspond to their lengths, just measure and go to any auto store.

I actually had to make a couple trips because the first couple belts I got were either a just slightly too long, or slightly too short. Make sure you have ample tightening/loosening with the tensioner when it's fitted correctly.

The "PK" number tells you the specs - the number in front of "PK" is the number of ribs, the number after is the length. If the belt doesn't fit even with the adjuster all the way out, hop down two sizes or so (Goodyear Gatorback belts are my favorite, and available at any auto parts store) and try that. If it still doesn't fit, return it and try again.

Problem is common, solution is common sense.

There is a pdf file on the Unorthodox website that tells you what size belts you need to buy.
