Street Racing Syndicate is a new game for PS2, XBoX, and Gamecube. It looks like a pretty cool game, a little more realistic than Midnight Club. It also has features to upgrade the looks of your car and under the hood. Also look what car you can get :)

A few thoughts:
1. 3DO is still in business? WTF?!
2. 'Babes'? wtf.
3. I have a feeling that some of the 'officially licensed' stuff will be from APC.
4. the fact that a Honda Civic w/ bodykit is among their screenshots is disturbing, at least to me.

This basically looks like a mix of GTA and Tokyo Extreme Racer, with a little more rice, a little less violence,

I'd rent it but not buy it, especially considering I have'nt seen any online yet, but I didn't really look.

Its games like this one that cause all sorts of trouble. The people who make reasonable upgrades to their cars for the purposes of sanctioned competition get a bad rap because of CRAP like this. I know its just a game, heck, I work in the game retail business. But I see a game like this hit the market, all the ricers flock to it :rolleyes: , and the mayhem begins. Just like when FnF first came out.

I could be wrong about all this, time will tell, but that's my $.02
