Smells like "gass" eh!? I would check the gas tank seal (http://www.courtesyparts.com/kb_search_result.php?keywords=[17342Q]+\(s14&cPath=3690_3691_3707_3711), and also check for any leaks. How is your mileage?

yea i have this problem occasionally also in my 95. the chassis has about 180,000 miles on it. The gas cap also failed when I had the car inspected so maybe its that.

i get 300 miles out of one tank if i don't get on it too much. i dont see any leaks, i'll check the gass cap.

Have you replaced your stock fuel pump? Check all the lines that you had to remove in order to get to the stock fuel pump. My lines were pretty hard and had cracks in them.

check the fuel lines. same thing happened to me when the rubber lines where cracked. and make sure they are tight.

very easy. they are 5/16th rubber lines. use hose clamps to tighten them.

I have this problem, but it's after i drive the car hard and around corners lol this is usually because the fuel pump seal is leaking. In your case, it might be the lines or the vapor canister up front by the driver side light. Check the bottom to see if it's on correctly.

First of all GAS is spelled with ONE "s", not two. Second check the fuel hoses by the tank. It is VERY common for those hoses to crack and leak without being noticed. The fuel pump o-ring rarely leaks though.
