Traded my jaded S14 for a CD6 Accord yesterday. Yup, a Honda. Don't fret, I'm not abandoning the S-chassis, I just need a change of pace after owning four S13s and three S14s.

lol. I would have gone for an M3, but everyone here is a bunch of lowballing fucks. Some guy offered me $2k for the car. It was all I could do not to tell him to shove that $2k up his ass.

I was just tired of the dumb ass little problems with the car that nobody I've talked to even had a clue what was up. Plus, the guy I traded it to is on a local forum, so I'll likely get the car back some time in the future. The cars on that website tend to become whores. Luckily, only a few people have had the chance to molest the car since it was new.

Plus, the car always smelled like gas inside (I think I cracked the plastic fuel pump cover thing), the carpet was in TERRIBLE shape (I'll post a pic of it), the gauge cluster was fucked, the A/C blew up, the frame was tweaked...

wow an H22? why put a prelude engine in? Its hard to find alot of parts for them.. well from where I am my buddy had a shit hard time finding anything and I told him to go with a K20 swap. Im not to knowledged on the honda engines but still from what we've looked for, its hard to find lots of specific parts and mostly universal was the way to go.. oh well enjoy the road ahead and the understeer :P

LOL. It's actually pretty funny, because once I got the little bugs worked out of the mechanical aspects of the car, she ran great. Also, it seemed like the problems that I was having with the car were all related, and once I fixed one thing, a bunch of problems went away. Oh, and the cooling system... fuck the KA. Such an assbackwards design. I love that car though. After all we've been through, it took a lot to get rid of it... but I know it's in good hands, and that it's still hanging around locally. I couldn't sell it to someone in SoCal who's going to rip it apart and drift it til there's nothing left of the chassis.

But yeah, the car gave me a lot of problems last year.... but then again it had 163k+ miles, and it was about time for those things to give (fuel pump, oil pressure sender, here and there kinda shit).

As far as problems lately, getting the cooling system bled out was the only real thing I've had to deal with.

Eh. Neither car is complete, in my honest opinion. Both have their ups and downs.

My S14 had a lot of personality to me. We understood each other pretty well, as crazy as that sounds. I scratch it's back, it scratched mine.

Coming from bone stock with that dent in the quarter, to what it is today, it's come a long way.

Every S14 has to be some clean drift-unit status type of vehicle to 'deliver'? Drift cars aren't 'real' cars as far as I'm concerned. If you don't see it on the street every day, if it's trailered to events, if you avoid driving because your aero is too low... then it's not worth shit to me.

Trading one DD for another... isn't really a downgrade. They're worth about the same when it's all said and done. The S14 had body damage and reliable drivetrain, the Accord has a nice body and drivetrain with weak wheels and needing a little work on the accessory side of things.

also on 2nd note 240sx seem to suck in more cash than honda not for nothing..you can make civic look real nice(lowwered,rims,lip kit and some cf panels with 1200 as for a 240 1200 gets you some megan coil overs and hand me down sportmax wheels..lol

There's a reason for satin black lips and skirts. In the daytime they blend with the shadow under the car to give the appearance that it is lower.

Congrats on getting out of the dumpsters that are 240's. I had a 2 door accord awhile back as a DD and loved it. It was comfortable and actually pretty nice on the inside, having creature comforts are awesome (cup holders, and AC!!! haha).
