I found this picture of this car on srswap.com and I love those headlights...if I see them correctly - looks to me like they don't flip up and it is clear w/ projector lenses...do my eyes fool me or is that what kind of lamps that car has?
Where can I find headlamps like those?

they look custom, ive never seen lights for the 240 that go down that far. perhaps they were made for RX-7s or MR2s.

Ab-Flug headlights sam at www.jspec.com can get them but they are really expensive
aerodyne.net (http://www.aerodyne.net/rmagic/silvia.htm) page seems to be under construction but located in CA and seems like they have em
edit: they are not ab flug lights. they are r*magic. like the huge sticker says...

It's not just headlamps, it's bumper, too.
For what they'd end up wanting, you'd probably be better off going to clearcorners.com and getting the dual beam HID.

True, but the difference is aesthetic value versus actual light output. Any of the Rmagic/East Bear kits will never have the light output the clearcorners kit does. *shrug* It's just the way of the beast.

That's not the only bad aspect. He doesn't sell a kit, he installs it on-site. At his shop in LA. So, pretty much everyone outside of CA is pooched.

Hey everyone, I havent posted here in a while. Yes, we only sell and install the low-profile headlight kit locally. There is a great deal of liability involved in selling and retrofitting cars to high intensity xenon lighting, so I just want to make sure each install is complete. It usually takes 1-2 days.
As a sidenote, I recall someone on FA installing the Hella lamps in the EastBear or fixed kit like above.. the Hella 90mm lamps can fit, but I am sure there is a lot of work that has to be done to properly mount the lights. Regardless, be READY to spend not just time.. but a great deal of money when upgrading to true-HID.

Since 240 owners are known to be cheap bastards and might not want to pay $1000+ for a lighting upgrade. If you want to fab your own up, do a simple google search for "90mm High and Low Beam Headlamps for Custom Apps" and you will find a source that sells the lights for $54 a piece(you need 4-2 low and 2 high). Then buy some pins and connectors to make everything work. Make a mounting plate that allows you to adjust the lights and aim them correctly. Next is the hard part of making the headlights only come up 3"-4". If you are willing to do all this work yourself, I would imagine you could have this setup at a fraction of the cost of the clearcorners.com lights.
Keep in mind that these are just Halogen projectors and not HID.
Also from everything that I have read while lurking on many fourms, Mike from clearcorners knows his ****, and there is prob alot of stuff I am leaving out.
Or you could even make something like this:
http://www.midtennmiata.com/round_headlights.htm
and make your own eastbear style headlights.
