My battery was already in the trunk but it was pretty ghetto'd in there. Marine case, bungee straps, and shit like that. I dont have any before pics. It was that embarrassing. Looked like hell and wasnt too safe either. So I redid it a lil bit with a few different batteries. Sorry for crappy cell phone pics.

this is the first time I've seen 2 car batteries connected in series like this.
Is there a particular reason/advantage for this?

that looks cleann. so does the power cord run through the side or do you have a hole for it through the spare tire holder?

The two batteries I used are rated at 600cca and I used 2 because I have a decent size amp as well. I didnt want a big fukn battery like was in there taking up major trunk space. This way is just the ticket and I get a heck of a discount because my partner sells them so I get them at cost. Have a 10" sub in a vented enclosure in there also and wanted a lil more (clean) room and wanted to do this while keeping the carpet intact. I have all the power I will ever need all the while keeping it all hiddden.

I woulda liked to do a lil better job on the welds but the welder I was using has a busted voltage knob and I would burn through if I was not carefull. It is tucked/routed along the passenger side.

Wait, I misread it. It is 4ga. Oh and the 150 amp was the smallest available to me at the time. It's merely there to prevent a dead short.
