Yeah, I got a dent on my door. I was wondering what do you guys think of it. Can it be popped out? Or would I be better off calling a PDR?
I'm hesitant to try out the heat gun/compressed air method just because people say it doesn't work.

it looks like you could pop part of it. though you do have a crease line and that will not pop out.

It doesn't look like it. That crown edge is pushed in a little. Whenever you have a crown area (right angle to the surface), it really won't bounce back out.

a door at the yard ranges from eh around 30-40 bux man, and white is easy to paint
or as stated almost free if you got friends
popping out door panels is annoying, as you hit bumps, and slam the door shut they pop back in sometimes, not worth removing the interior panels (if you have them)

Its not even worth fixing. Like David said, there is a huge chance that the dent will pop back out. New doors will run you around $100 max. Look around and find the right one already painted, spend 2 hours and it will look good as new.

why dont you try it and let us know how it goes.
i dont see why ppl waste time putting up threads like this when either way your going to be popping it back out or at least trying.
so save yourself the time and me telling you this is almost useless and get to work on it.

Call PDR. Should be like 50-70 bucks. alot of the people up there ^^^ dont know what they're talking about.
I went to school for 2 yrs for auto refinishing, and when pdr can fix something its well worth the money.
The dent shouldnt pop back in because it doesnt look stretched. PDR should be able to tell you if its fixable free of charge anyways.
If you try to pop it out yourself you will probably still be able to see the dent. since you already know about pdr, you should give it a try. I had good results on a G35 where I got a 6 inch long ding from a truck that slammed its door in to mine, cant even tell it happened. Its worth it. trust me.
