Okay... I was really ****ed cause right now my car is sitting at a corner store. And I am worried about it cause the cars dead and I have no alarm and rims. Today, I went to get a new resonator put in to fix my exaust leak. I was happy about that. Anyways. like around 11 pm I went to drop off some girls and a friend at there houses. When I went to my friends house I parked my car and let it idle in neutral for like 5 minutes. THen all of a sudden it stalled out. I thought nothing of it. Then going home I had to go up a hill and the car felt for a second like it had no power then came back on. Just thought I was out of gas. So I turn and the car all of a sudden dies out. I'm really ****ed. I tried starting it up with my friend still in the car. I'm really mad now because I kept trying to start it. I checked my battery to see if it was dead. Checked my Apex'i RSM meter and the battery was at 14.2 volts. I was like hum thats not the problem. So I called up a friend to bring some gas. He brings it and I pour it in. The car still doesn't start so we just left it on the side of the street.
And then I go off with my friend to his house to get some jumper cables. My friend knows I'm ****ed so he says to just let the car chill while we do something. A couple of my friends and I took there cars to the night races to eat and watch whats happening. (i don't street race by the way) Its like 3 am and I go back to the car. We give it a few turn of the key, and it starts up, I'm amazed. But it sounded kinda crappy since my valve spring has been acting up for a while now. I take it around the block and as I come back from the test run the car dies in front of them. I start it up and it starts up again thinking its okay. Then my friends say they'll follow me home in case something happens. Like 2 blocks later I had to stop for an intersection and I was thinking to myself to Rev up the engine so It doesn't die. But I had to brake so I couldn't rev it up. As I stopped at the intersection the car died. And We pushed it to the other side of the street. ANd tired alot of times to start it. I only pressed the clutch and tried to start because my friends were telling me its probably flooded. ALl the times I tried to start it it wouldn't. SOmetimes it would backfire.
So we pushed it into a corner store and my friend pulls his gsr up to my car to give it a jump start just to see if it does anything. Nothing. SO Right now its there.
WHat I'm thinking is that something might of happened when they welded a new resonator. The gain in backpressure might have messed up the sensors or something. Any Ideas. I'm also thinking the engine is flooded
I'm thinking of selling it once i get it fixed this time for a s14.
This car should sell once its going for at least $3000 am I right.
This s13 right now has New block, pistons, camshaft, crank, flywheel, clutch, lifetime warrenty brakes, 17" rims, and new stock exaust system, and alot of other stuff. These parts are more than $3000+ that was spent on this car. I'm really tired of having all these new problems.
