doesn't seem like a good idea to me, it just says to any cops who konw about imports, "Hey! LOOK AT ME! I have an illegal engine in my car! Pull my a$$ over!" :rolleyes:

friend of mine in Northern VA has the liscense plate "SR20PWR"... but its not a DET its just the DE.

To me it says "Hey I have a $2500 engine come steal my car" But then again I think my FMIC says that too:( :rolleyes:

Personally, I would leave my car totally umarked just so nobody knows whats in my car...if your license plate tells everyone what you have, then its not as fun when you race them :)

Exactly.............people will find way and reasons to steal a car with a hot engine.......I think the second time, my integra was stolen was for the engine....I had SPooN Stickers on the door....I didn't have a spoon engine just suspension and strut tower bar, and things like that..... So they stripped everything else........CAI, STB, eveything........ I would just be careful....or get a fuel cut switch and hide it..........AND don't post about your switch....

I wanted SHIFTSR but it has already been taken here in Ohio. I can put SR-whatever on my plate cause no one in my area would have any idea what the hell it means.

Speaking of liscence plates, when I was in FL two years ago I saw a Lexus with plate number IM4 RGY, I'll see if anyone can figure that one out....:D
I'm planning on getting a Rose-Hulman liscence plate this summer when I get my plates renewed. They have three numbers and I'm going to try to get #240...oooooooohhhhhhh how creative.:o
