Just curious to know if you think I'll need an aftermarket FPR. Right now on the car is s14 SR (zenki) in s14 chassis w/ FMIC, Walbro 255lph Fuel pump, z32 Fuel filter, HGayS BoV, HKS t28 actuator set to 14psi. I already have the n62 MAF and I'm waiting on some 555 injectors. My ECU is nistuned so do you guys think i'll need an aftermarket FPR for this setup? I wont be doing any racing as this is my DD.

Thanks.

No. I'm running a KA-T turbo with a Nismo 555cc injectors, 2871R, Walbro 255lph, Z32 Maf, 18 psi, etc. and have had no problems with the stock FPR.

When would you need an aftermarket FPR? When the stock one goes bad? I'm running a similar set up with stock FPR and have an adjustable one laying around.

If you use stock pressure, it's a judgement call. It's whenever you feel that the stock FPR is no longer able to maintain a steady, consistent fuel pressure

If you you need a different fuel pressure than stock, then of course you need an adjustable FPR.

If you have no idea what your fuel pressure should be, check with your engine builder.

I see built cars that use stock FPR. I keep my pressure at stock level because i want no more than 300 350 horse power. I got the adjustable one because i dont feel safe having a 20 year old FPR, but right now its still just sitting there.

I plan on making around 300hp, and i do to have an aftermarket FPR just lying around i want to sell.
