Megan Coilover bust......

So i bought a set of Megan Street Coilovers... Got it for a good price but so far looking on line, i guess i didn't do my research good enough. I had stumbles after stumbles.

1st: holes on the front for the bolts were to small - no problem there just drill it out with a 9/16

Did any one have the same experience as me out there or has any shop replace or swap the rear for you? not really pist more disappointed that i couldn't finish the suspension and take her for a spin.

had no problems with mine, and havent heard of any of your problems before. make sure you have the right coil on the right side and left on left for the rears

^^^ Correct.

S13 coilovers are 12mm on the front bolt holes, S14 is 14mm (9/16"). No wonder you had to drill them out.

S13 rears are MUCH shorter than S14 coilovers. No wonder they don;t fit.

Yeah, you got S13 coils. The S14 have larger bolt holes. See if they can send you some S14 rear lower coilover mounts to swap on.

well thanks for all your reply i guess i f*up on drilling the front, now i hope the shop will replace the rear and not ask for the full set back for a full replacement.

should be their fault for sending you s13 coilovers for your s14

That should be an interesting return. Isn't the valving different for S13/S14?

I doubt it. They are damping the same spring rate: 8, and 6 kg/mm; and the cars do not weigh that much different. They are 40 billion way adjustable remember?

plus its only megan racing not the highest quality but i still like them for what i paid
