im going to venture and say it is a R33:

why?
5 lug hubs (by bolt pattern on wheel and large lip)
aero mirrors (ganador style)
RHD
body looks skyline (r33)
also tegs have gas tank door on driver (US driver) side of car. this one has no tank door on that side (Japan passenger)

back looks too curved. silvia (s13/14) are more straight, where as R33 is more curvy

Here's why...

Front windshield..that sunken in look...All 240/slivia's have em.

Plus an r33 looks bigger than that.

Quarter window..that's a 240 window.

It's gotta be..
But here's the thing...the fenders look exactly like mine...With a little trim it looks like those r33 lights would bolt right up.

Edit: never mind..if you look at where the a-pillar meets the fender you'll notice that it's doesn't look like a 240's at all. Oops:eek:

Skylines have a “surfing line” on the rear fender, the car in question dose not have this, So unless he replaced the rear fenders without the surfing line, it shouldn’t be a skyline.

..dont read into it soo much, They can do body work, maybe he didnt like this "surfing line" u speak of. Maybe he felt liek making the car look a lil more sleek. Personally this car is most likely an R33

It is most definately a Skyline GTS-t. My cousin has the Import Racer magazine with the car in it. It is a few months back and it wasz in the very back of the magazine. Tight car in a wack magazine.

The surfing line (i believe that is what it is called) is the "flare" above the rear wheel, but its not just a flare for cosmetics or for wider tires, it actually if what I read is true helps in structural rigidity. I read this in a magazine a few years back but I’ll try to find it and make sure what I said is accurate. Although the I’m not sure if this is excusive just to the GTR or for them all.

IMO, R33 is the ugliest skyline of them all. R32 is much nicer. The 33 was just to fat.

R32 is "GODZIRA" of all cars! R33 is funky, and the 34 is a tub (but perdy).

This is a '97 GT-S(BNR33) Skyline. It is owned by Masami Hayashi, an employee of Tanabe Racing Development in japan. It has a BN Sports Full Aero bodykitand a custom high intensity discharge (HID) lighting system. It has Rocksmith 19" wheels on the front and 18's on the back. Yes, it IS a gts skyline. This is a picture of the bodykit it has fitted on it.

i see how it might have been confused with a S14 though....you can see the line that runs along the door to the rear 1/4 panel, the S14 has pretty much the same line, but then again S14 and R33 were out at the same time so there is some family resemblence between the two.



oh, and one time at Buttonwillow i saw a S14 with a R33 front on it. it was pretty much a track car, fully stripped interior, caged and all that, but it had a R33 face. i think it was black or dark blue or something, i forget, but does anyone know who's car that is? i didnt get to see it run on the track or anything, i just saw it resting near the pit area. its not often you see a front end conversion done to a track car.

ah ha. i also see that the body line across the side on the S14 runs through the door handle whereas the similar line on the R33 runs underneath the door handle.

I have met that guy before, I am pretty sure thats the same guy I bought my rims from. Its a 95 with an R33 face and an RB25 under the hood. His name is Gary and he lives in Torrance if I am correct.
