leather anyone?

Hey there

Im wondering how common leather is on our cars. Mines a 93 240SX SE..loaded. It has everything but the hicas system and has nice grey leather seats behind a jet black paintjob and limo tint windows. Well enough bragging.. anyone have leather on their 240? Is it rare or not?

i have leather in my 90, and it SUCKS. i hate leather to start with, but i think the leather in here has become something more similar to the vinyl seats in my old 73 superbeetle.

i yearn for the day when i can drop a pair of sparcos in.

i have a '92 LE so my car comes with grey leather seats as well. they suck cause they retain heat when it's hot and take longer to heat up when it's cold outside. you also slide around a lot when driving, esp if you're driving "spiritedly." oh, they also need more maintenance than plain cloth seats. haha. after all that, they're for sale if anyone's interested. if anything, they're pretty to look at. (;

Yeah my leather seats aint so nice either. I mean, theyre in pristine condition, but theyre just uncomfortable. Especially the front seats...killer on the back. The leather hardens really easily under the sun (my backseat has a growing tear), even with leather conditioner application. They are pretty nice cuz they dont retain fart. In the end, if i had to choose S13 cloth or leather, i would choose leather because the cloth just looks like ass IMHO.

ROFL!!! i guess that's one good thing about the leather seats, if you squeeze your cheeks just right and let one rip the leather acts as an amplifier. BRAAAP!!! :D :D :D

You are right that suck.I have a 240 92 le with leather.Here where i live had in summer 120F of heat.:eek:

yeah thats my car!! Same damn thing! I dont have that muffler though, mines stock, same tint same paint.. Also I dont know if its factory or not but my rims have a black painted section in between the spokes, like in the openings, and around the bolt holes.. Maybe they were refinished before I got the car. Nice ride!

I love my leather, both my 240's have leather.
I guess i just have the narrow skinny asian ass that the seats were originally designed for... I admit drifting is a lil more of a bitch tho when u have to use 1/3 of your driving effort trying to stay in the seat, I see corbeau's in my not so distant future :)
