THat TV is badass....my uncle has that TV in his basement in St. Louis. When i was in St. Louis 3 weeks ago, I almost skipped the wedding i was supposed to attend there just to watch TV.

If you get that second tv and the couch you got, all you need is that 2.1 speaker Bose Surround sound system, then you would have a hella sweet entertainment system.

Bose = crap.

Ask any audiophile.

they sounded nice in best buy.

I have an aiwa sound system I think (its in storage so I forget), might be pioneer, but whats so bad about the 2 speaker bose system, sounded great.

I went TV shopping today.....Myer-Emco had some Sony XBR's on sale...floor models. THey were in really good condition. The one we wanted was a 65" Widescreen HDTV, but it was sold already, and only $2500. We were mad that it had been sold. We may have to go with the 57" Widescreen HDTV for $2000. Those are sweet prices. They retail for like 4500.

Bose is all hype. By tweaking their systems to provide boomy, muddy bass, they make people "think" they are getting something good. In reality, the drivers they use are hopelessly low-tech (paper cones for most of them, instead of quality poly cones or something even better like woven kevlar...like my Missions).

Bose definitely has the knack for marketing, though. Getting people to pay $500 for some ho-hum tabletop stereo (Wave Radio) takes genius. If you want good, small audio, look to Nakamichi, Denon, Onkyo, and the master...Bang & Olufson.

I just love it when people brag about a Bose OEM stereo system...makes me laugh. Crappy amps, crappy drivers, crappy crappy crappy. And they make you pay like $900 for that shiz.
