S13 headlight problem

my 89 240sx will have the head lights come up but only the right side turns on, tried replacing the asembly but no go and the fuse by the battery is fine. any suggestions on what to try next?

Wiring... the last owner of my s13 had taped up the wires so i couldn't see but there was a bunch of butt connectors after taking the tape off... I had to solder all of them and shrink wrap it... I would suggest you take a multimeter to the wires... and follow them, your tire could have chewed it up under the fender... and just go on from there... last resort just splice it at the firewall and see if you get current... if not you'll have to remove the dash and troubleshoot on the other side of the firewall.

may be the relay also
