car: 98 s14
ecu used: manual j6 from a 97 s14
unplugged transmission control unit
okay i keep getting a cel 1-11 inhibitor switch (automatic stuff) after i was done
the only thing plugged is this top connector on the rear side of the passenger fuse box and it's jumped to make the car start. the bottom 3 connectors after that have been unplugged. reference picture (not mine) http://www.ka24development.com/cwilfert/electrical_wiring_harness_connectors.jpg
the only thing i can think of is i got the power/signal wire mixed up for the neutral switch during my hardwiring to the ecu because i looked up a fsm and cel 1-11 also means p0705 (neutral position switch).
any tips?
