Anyone else seen this? Cover of "BestCar" has the new NSX, Miata(roadster), Supra and of course, the GT-R... they all look awesome! I love that new miata... supra has a funny face and the NSX isn't my type, but the GT-R so nice!

Joy!

why do they consider the MX-5 Roadster Mazda's Super Car?!? the RX series is their Super Car, why not put the RX-8, or the prototype '05 RX-7, instead of the Roadster? bah!

btw, the Supra looks kinda funny. not funny "ha ha", but funny "aw, shit..."

if the toyota was referred to as the 2000gt it would make more sense because that it what it looks like

un·der·mine [ ùndr mn, úndr mn ] (past un·der·mined, past participle un·der·mined, present participle un·der·min·ing, 3rd person present singular un·der·mines)
transitive verb

1. erode: to weaken something by removing or wearing away material from its base or from beneath it The chalk cliffs are being gradually undermined by the waves.

2. weaken gradually: to diminish or weaken something gradually Successive failures at job interviews began to undermine my confidence.

3. weaken insidiously: to demoralize somebody or something by covert and malicious action

"There's alot of things you wouldn't understand about me, COULDN'T understand, I'm a loner, Dottie, a rebel"

What the hell is that from? My friend had that audio clip on this old site he had. I always thought he said a "loadertottie" in that little voice.

the r35 front is pretty ugly imo... it's too boxy looking if you look at it from the side. the rear's great tho. just not the front. the supra looks so disgusting in that picture!! it's like one of those things that make you wonder "what were they thinking of??" the nsx looks nice tho. the miata... can you say "mazda 6"?

All ugly except the miata, miata isn't really a super car though. But I hear of it getting some rotary power, that would be sweet.

I hate the looks of the rest but I am sure they will be some of the greatest powerhouses we have seen, with rumors of a 400+ HP V8 GTR, and I am sure Toyota will be competing with it, and the NSX is just going to be an expensive car, but still a nice ride.

IMO Mazda seems to be doing the best looks wise out of Toyota, Mazda and Honda, just awaiting the interesting parts, the engines :D

EDIT: Whats the bottom say, I see a 2000GT, S2K, 240Z, and some other cars I can't identify.

all of those cars should be taken to a quiet spot in the yard and shot, followed by the designers. maybe then honda, mazda, nissan, and toyta will hire some people to make these cars look good

The "Supra" (as shown) is designed with styling that emulates the Toyota 2000GT.

Note the similarities:

looks kinda like a 240z and a mazda rx8

I still prefer the 240Z though :D, best looking datsun IMO, prolly the best looking car pre 1980, but I really haven't seen that many cars from that era
