I just got back from the junkyard with my bf and I saw lots of nice mesh rims. Are there any kind of rims that come off other cars that will fit 240sx's. I saw some cool meshys on an alpha, porshe and old rx-7.
By the way this is my first post. My name is krissy and I just bought an s13 vert. Im not new to cars but this is my first s13. My dd is a ep3

I think RX7 meshies fit 5 lug, but 4 lugs are hard to come by to fit.....

^ 5 lug bro. plus those are hard to come byat junkyards. they weren't produced in high numbers either.

Doubt someone is going to spend the money on a 5 lug conversion just to run some wheels they find at the yard.

There are usually always enkie style meshies at junkyards, but typically in really high offsets. You basically just have to know which cars came with a 4x114.3 bolt pattern and go from there.

crown vics are 5 lug = no go
sa22 rx7's mesh are 4x110 = no go
fc3s rx7 mesh are 5 lug = no go
old mustangs are 4x108 = no go
starion wheels are 5 lug = no go


if you're dead set on buying cheapo wheels, just get some sportmaxx's off of ebay or something.

if you are going to grad school, then you should know about doing research.
search on thread about size and offset, learn about it and it'll save you tons of money and the best look.

I got some q45 meshies, and the rear 5 lug from the 'yard for like $50. cant really remember. they are 15x7 I think, +30 offset. they will look better than the stockers. only the 5 lug problem. they are actually pretty light at 15# per wheel.

Obviously I'm trying to comprimise if I'm looking for good rims for the best and lowest price possible.
