Yea man, it's a pretty sad state of affairs in mex right now. I lived there for about 6 yrs and saw some real bullshit go down. Corruption on every level of government, abuse of authority and a general disregard for liife.

At first, theys just to wear masks when they do something... the kidnapped people of the other cartel and then they appeared death out in the city limits... but know they do it at ANY TIME THEY WANT, they don't wear masks any longer, they just don't care if you see there faces or there cars, they don't even speed off when they kill some one... one time they came to a bar looking for this guy and the end is that they kill 13 people...a month or so they kill a baby of 3 months just because he was on the back seat of the truck... this is bullshit, i can belive that this is really happening, it's like living on a nightmare, an the only shit you see on the TV is that we need to make anonimous phone calls to police... but at this time you don't know if the man or women that answers the phone is fucking corrupt

Sorry for this, i ust wanna take it out of me, all my family including me, was right next to a shooting and its fucking HORRIBLE, just hearing the AK-47 (cuerno de chivo-goats horn) killing a Police officer...

To the OP...I'm not sure how much difference it makes, but my wife and I took a week off last year to build a small compound for about a dozen orphans and their caretakers on the outskirts of Juarez with Casas por Cristo. Our build sight was about 5 miles west of ME45 on ME2. I don't know how close we were to some of this horrific violence, but I honestly know we were being protected for our short time there. Some of the people we met from where we stayed in the city were some of the most faithful people I've had the chance to spend time with. I pray for the entire city of Juarez and I want to keep you and your family in my thoughts/prayers for protection and that something will give along the border cities soon before it gets any worse. No one should live like that and I can't imagine the lifestyle you all have and the nightmare of seeing some of those things you've already seen. Keep the faith man. :angel:
