tt z32 diff into s14

someone is trying to sell me a tt z32 5 bolt diff for my 95 base model s14. what will i need to make this work in my car?? i have searched but cant find a strait up answer. please help. thank you

someone said all i needed was 5 bolt j30 axles but i dont think its true

The TT diff needs the larger axles and hubs. The NA diff will use the j30 stuff. Honestly I wouldn't buy it, not worth it and the gear ratio is too tall iirc. Try to find an r33 diff and axles, direct bolt in on s14. I have this on mine.

1) It wont work unless you plan on modifying your subframe.

2) There is no such thing as 5 bolt Z32 TT Diff, the axles are 6 bolt, they will also require the larger diameter hubs for the TT axles.

If you want to know what is needed check my for sale thread, this one has been sold but I have another setup minus one axle that im planning on putting up for sale so hit me up if you need this setup. BTW this is a Q45 setup just about identical to the Z32 TT but it does bolt up to your S14 subframe without modification.

ok thanks guys i didnt know to much about it thanks for clearing everything up. what about j30's? what do those need to go into an s14. dont the 6 bolts bolt right in?

It does but the gear ratio is higher. J30 is 5 bolt iirc so you'll need those axles.

ok sorry for all the different subjects on diff's but i just bought a na z32 diff what do i need to put it in? i know for sure i can get s14 vlsd diff outputs and swap those in the diff and it will bolt in but i also heard i can use j30 axles instead of doing that. is that true?

yeah u can use the j30 axles. i belive the 14 has only 2 bolts in the back though while the z32 has 4 which would be a direct bolt on for the 13 and i just used the j30 alxes and works perfectly.

no the z32 has 2 just like the 14

got everything in only prob was a seal(looked like a dust shield or something that's on the end on the axle. when it goes in the hub it rubs a little nut next to it cause its a little bigger than the previous seal. so i let it shave its self down by putting it in gear and letting it roll while on jack stands and its fine now. just letting anyone know who is interested in the swap.

-base model s14(no abs or vlsd obviously )
-z32 NA diff
-j30 5 bolt axles
