Can someone PLEASE help me and give me instructions on how to advance my timing on a 89' 240sx... don't know how to exactly do it on my car. Any input would help. thanks

y0ou need a timing light first of all. second to make sure you dont f up anything mark your current timing with a marker or punch then find your belt and look for the notches then loosen the dist (12mm) 2 bolts turn it and you will see the marks on your cars belt go up or down dependant on the way you mov eit . i dont member which way advances or retards but you will definately notice it in engine sound and feel also if you adv. to much you will here a pinging noise
