Actually i've got to do that too. Hey, has anyone replaced the windshield? I'd like to get that done sometime... I've got a lot of film on it that just can't be taken off, and those little rock pits etc have built up over 11 years.

Transient, you need to have a crack in your windsheild for your insurance to pay for a new windshield (you don't want to pay for a windshield, there expensive) So have a friend "accidently" break it one night and tell your insurance that a rock hit you on the highway <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
AJ are you talkng about the weather stripping, it would probably be expensive to buy it from the dealer, goto a home depot or something and look for similar weather stripping.

####! I wish my windshield would last 11 years. I go through a windshield about every 1-2 years. All of my family's cars do...it's like a curse or something. Matter of fact, I'm due for a new windshield now.

hehe, Well, this may have gotten a new windshield somewhere along the way, but from the looks of it, it's the original.
So how does that affect my premiums if the insurance pays for the windshield? Btw, I've got a huge deductable...
How much would it cost for me to just pay for it myself?

bah, I can afford that. No reason to get the insurance company involved
but that stripping is custom molded it looks like?.. how would home depot have that?.. also,, part of the top right corner is kinda loose.. it's fine. but when i was washing my car i noticed it. I hate things to be outa place, so i'd love to fix that too... u think i should just glue it down to the rest of the rubber stripping? all u s14 owners should know what i'm talking about. There are two pieces of rubber starting at the corners of ur windshield.. my top one is not attached real well in one place. Also, how would i go about getting that stripping in once i attained it? SHould i pay someone to do it or is it easy? thanks!
