FS CS; Bride Gias feeler thread

Feeling it out to see if I can get it sold. I just want what I invested into it. Reason for selling is because I want some bride brix I's. Anyone with a legit bride brix I with no logo on headrest want to trade for this Gias and cash, that would take priority over someone who just wants to buy it. $1000 includes slider for a zilvia. So cal, OC, near Irvine. No can't meet up just to see it, in perfect condition, except for the dime size hole from keys while a driver in d1 was using it. I bought it with the hole and never installed it, its just been sitting for over a year.

still looking; either to sell straight out, or trade for a Bride Brix I black, blue, or purple. But it can not have the Bride logo on the headrest. Not looking for any other trades except for a Bride Brix I, or straight out sell of the seat. Thanks for the replies, all SERIOUS pm's returned ;) Taking more pictures today! My 70 y.o. pops will be the model, dont trip he weighs 180 pounds and can bench 400 lol! My guess is he will fit in the seat but his shoulders will not.

seat is real, but the slider and the rail are not. I wanted it this way because I planned to chop them
up anyways for the install on my grand national. I didn't want to spend the extra cash either at the time,
I already had spent enough. I bought the seat for $900 and the rail + slider for an extra $100.

well i'm not trying to put the thread down but real bride seats have BRIDE ENGRAVED ON THE SIDE FRAME BOLSTER OF THE SEAT! ( SILVER PART THAT GOES VERTICAL TO HOLD THE BOTTOM TO BACK REST), i'm not even looking at the slider or rail!
GLWS, Taiwan seats goes for about $5-600 NEW on ebay.

I think the seat is real, judging by the fact that near the adjustment knob it's smooth and the sticker on the bottom.

One more thing to check is if there's a tag on the left or right side leg bolster, its usually tucked underneith the fabric.

I say the the cushions and the upholstery are legit, and if this seat is real the side frames should be made out of aluminum. Run a magnet on the side of it to find out, cause the FRP ones are the ones that come with steal...

I don't think all gias's where made like that, just the newer ones. I bought this seat about a year ago and it was used for at least 1 season in amateur d1, that is where it got the dime sized hole from his keys.

thank you! the frames are definitely made of aluminum, I am uploading a video showing this, and showing the Bride tag. No difference really, unless you put it side to side with the JAPAN one then you'll understand. Just the value wise, if you want good price for the seats you must have CERTIFICATE! other wise just go buy brand new taiwan for $700 each, it looks great!~

Just because there is no certificate doesn't mean seats not real come on now, that is just silly. I don't have official papers for my brix, or my bride mesh, or for my pair of sparco torinos, or my recaro mesh seats but that doesn't make them less value or less real imho so I strongly disagree. People like to shop used and save money that is how the used parts market works. And thanks for your suggestion to buy something else, I want you or the people who would buy fake taiwan brides to not purchase this seat anyways.

You can't physically tell by eying it. The quality of counterfeits are very deceiving.

One obvious thing that it's missing is a holographic sticker that comes on every every seat and rail. Also, every bride product comes with a certificate because of the obvious copy cats out there. Also, there is a difference in quality, during a rear impact I doubt a fake one would hold up. Contact whomever sold it to you and find out where he got it from. Quality is questionable.
