Yeah totally normal.
I mean I wouldn't expect my sidemarkers to turn on when I flip the switch. Instead I just keep my foot on the brake at all times at night so I can have every light on.
Yeaaaaaaahhhhh....

yea what she said...
/fixed
my brake lights would work, unless the flipups where on, and when you stepped on the brake, then and only then would the rear left signal turn on solid orange and the brake light itself turn out... but if not stepping on brakes, or headlights off, then the signal worked fine. It seemed normal.

wirings was never touch! tho i just finished my fuse box relocation i didnt bother doing the wiring differently so they dont turn on when i hit the brake during daylight when sidemarkers are off. i notice this before doing the relocation tho.
so this is normal!
but i mean why?...kinda retarded might end up re-wiring it!

I always think about what if I had purchased a s13 instead of the kouki.... Threads like these make me happy to spend the extra $20 more for a part just cause its for an s14.

nissans notorious for wiring problems in their older cars
from what i hear?
the only issue electrical i have is my heater/ac blows when the car isnt on and on the first switch where the radio turns on.

just buy a lot of fuses and start mashing wires together... you'll find the right combo eventually

check the wire harness above the front driver side tire.

wiring gremlin are soo funny...like my friends 64? nova, to make the windshield wipers work he has to honk the horn lol.
But ya check above the front driver tyre or behind the break petal...maybe when you break some thing touches a wire and that happens
good luck man...wiring is annoying to say the least

alright so i was looking at the wiring diagram and i remember when i did the fuse box relocation, sidemarkers, frt blinkers all uses the same power wire which are connected to the brake switch so this is normal. i've done way too much wirings already i think im just going to stick wit it for now....
