Here are a beautiful set of Volks and rubber that were not available in N Amercia.

17x7.5(+29) with 215/45 ZR17 Potenza RE711 and 17x8(+35) with 235/40 ZR17 Potenza RE01... these wheels were used on a whow car in Japan and the rubber shows no signs of wear. Rubber alone is around $1000

do you have a model name for these wheels? they are a lot like the Volk Racing GT-Cs...but a little different. Are they just an old model of the GT-C? I might be interested (price is pretty good), but I need some more info. For instance, I need to know if they will fit with Z brakes (many wheels don't). Please either post back here or PM me.

price is in US funds...

yes these will fit over Z brakes, hell, you could prolly put these over McLaren brakes... lots of room which needs to be filled with Z brakes or larger IMO

i would still like the model name of these wheels, please. they are older than anything listed on Volk's website...

i mainly just want to know if they are legit. The logo on the center cap is not a Volk logo I've seen before. It seems to say "VS" which is not the current one. I know I sound lame asking all this stuff, but I don't know you, and the pic is not very good at all.

not a problem, I understand completely, these are not a cheap item that one can just throw money around for...

I am waiting for my camera to get fixed... my dumb ass let it fall off my ATV while I was out 4x4'ing and I have been left using my friends VERY cheap model.

Please inform me of any and all pics you would like... I will be checking the wheels for all markings to assure you that these are the real deal.

These do have Rays valve stems with Rays caps and all the nuts and bolts holding the 2 peice together are stamped with the Rays Logo showing their authenticity... I will get pics of these as well as the a pic of the factory wheel info tag that shows the manufacturer, manufacture date, size etc.

give me about 4 hours to grab a better camera.

thanx,
Chris

ok, here are som more pics of the logo (VR) and the production tag on the back and some misc ones... these are still not the greatest quality, but it does show a bit more detail....

It appears the model is Volk A-V, prod. date was Nov 22 1993
hard to read in the photos of the tag, but its there =)

What is the overall wear on the wheels? Could we discuss on the pricing privately, since I'm from Canada? ;)

interesting. I never really thought about buying OLD wheels. cuz those are OLD. hahaha.

the pics were good...i'm a believer now. thank you for that.

i have to give it some thought though. my plan for the past few months has been to go 5-lug and get some nice, new volks when money allows.

i'll PM you if i change my mind.
