I didnt know how to word this question for the search, so ima jus ask it.

Im currently running my sr20det on 15psi on my t28 on stock injectors, ive been running like this for over 6months with no problems but i was told its affecting my timing map because of the high duty cycle on my injectors.

My question is, will there be a major effect on my timing map when i put in the 550 injectors?

My current setup is z32 maf, stock injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump, stock t28 turbo with tubular manifold and elbow and brian crower 264cams.

Tuning with a stock ecu and safc2

how are you tuning this? SAFC, then yes.

It's not the duty cycle that affects the timing. Its messing with the load data the ecu is getting to trim the fuel. The more you trim with a SAFC the more the load data gets screwed up.

The SAFC messes with the MAF/MAP sensor data to affect load the ECU sees. The ECU then adjusts the fuel the engine gets. The problem is that the ECU also adjusts ignition advance based on load. I uses the MAF/MAP signal to do this also. The problem is that the SFAC is giving it data that is not the real load on the engine. So, depending on how you trim it can be way advanced or way retarded then it should be for the load.
