tried searching to see if anyone else has had the same problem as me and havent found anything yet....
i had a ca18det in my car, blew it up. so i swapped in an engine/tranny out of a 93 with 93k on it. got an engine harness, coil, ecu from another and went on to putting it in. everything went fine until time to start. my problem is that itll turn over but its like it isnt getting any spark. there is spark coming out of the coil wire going to distributor but very little... also on the power transistor it starts to get very hot if just left on the acc position for a few seconds. everything is reading to spec on the coil and resisitor so would it be something in the distributor itself??
and this is in a 90' hatch
