What is going on, I just tried my second Z32 MAF and both have the same issue so I am thinking it is not the MAF but something wiring related perhaps. The output voltage of both MAFs is around 3.4v with the key in the on position, it should be less than 1. Any ideas? Both are wired with one ground going to the harness and the other going to the chassis. This is on my S14 KA-T.

is your car tuned for the z32 maf? your wiring should be
A=unused
B= MAF signal wire
C= Chasis ground
D= Maf ground to ecu
E=12v power
F unused

Thanks for the help, I checked out my wiring and had somehow managed to swap the signal wire and the power wire.
So for those of you who make my same mistake in the future, swapping the signal wire and the power wire on a Z32 maf will result in around 3.4v output.
