I'm installing an alarm in my s14 and I'm using two hood pin switch. One for the hood and one for the trunk due no longer having a trunk light switch. Both of these switches will be using to trigger to the (-) hood/trunk input on the alarm brain.
My question is, I do not need to use a diode on each of the switch to isolate these two switches correct? This is due to my system having an aftermarket hood pin switch and not using the factory one trigger the trunk light?

Nope, no diode necessary. If you're hooking them into the same input, combine their ground wires and use separate +12v leads (if they're the same type I'm thinkin about).

Yeah, i'm combining the two hood pin switch into one and run to the (-) hood/trunk trigger. I'm not sure what you mean by the separate +12v leads thought. There are +12v leads that i'm getting power from else where to power the the brain and such.

isolating is an either or, in the case of setting off the alarm, you don't give a shit which input you use, you just want the damn thing to go off you you can dice the person trying to steal your car into bit size chunks. slowly.

Just run the hood pin switches to the blue wire
