Hello, recently my temp needle on the cluster bounces. like it's not even working and it just jumps as I drive. It's off and on, and I was told it was my temp sensor could be bad, but I tried cleaning it and all and it seemed to work but its back again not sure what the exact problem is.

thanks all!

there's probably a loose connection somewhere or possibly a short giving false readings.

With solid engine mounts it can do that.

hhmmm It does feel loose. Is it ok to get another sensor harness and just splice the new one in. Or would it cause the connection to be weak?

Either the sensor connection is loose (aka every time you hit a bump its effected) or you have air bubbles in your system causing the needle to fluctuate.
