ok so i just had my motor freshly rebuilt top to bottom at a shop and it is burning oil. white smoke constant out of exhaust. they did a compression test 125 across the board and i believe oil was on 2 of the spark plugs. anybody know what this is and why? Thanks

chances are they didnt tighten down the head, bad quality head gasket causing you to leak fluid? Also if its burning oil and oil is showing up on the spark plugs it means that oil is getting past your piston rings.

so rings need to be replaced?

It really shouldn't matter why, you had them rebuild it and it's leaking and burning oil already?

See if you can get some money back and then take it to a shop that doesn't suck.
