hey i was at a aftermarket shop around my town. i was asking the guy if he sold any intakes for my 240. he told me that he sold AEM, so i asked him about the Injen intakeds. he said that the AEM are better quality then the injen, is there any truth to this??

okay, first disclaimer--don't flame me cause I'm talking about Honda's on a Nissan forum!!!

I believe AEM is better for Honda....pretty much most if not all of my friends here are Honda guys, and they always have Honda Tuner and stuff....so I'm bored and I'll read through all these mag's....seems like AEM gives out the best dyno's for Honda's.(which most aftermarket shops tend to cater to...for a good reason)
Although! of course parts/manufacturers that are better for one car, isn't/aren't always better for another car. I haven't ever used AEM for my 240(do they make one for 91-94?), and it seems like everyone uses the injen, including myself...so I'd say use injen.

I don't know about AEM, but all I can say is that the injen intake is freaking awesome!

Injen has been around for a while, what ever problems that their intakes had were worked out over time to become what they are today. AEM on the other hand is new (for 240's)and their intakes are sure to have a few bugs that need to be worked out. I'd say that before you buy an aem intake, you should wait and get a few product reviews. My opinion is to go with the injen.

I have heard that AEM intake makes zero performance gain on a dyno' for our 240sx. But Injen intake is proven to have at least 5 hp gain on wheel. I have my injen for a month, I can really feel the actucal gain from it.

Im gonna put in another vote for the Injen, I love mine, and get the CAE it makes quite a difference
I ran mine without the CAE for awhile and was very glad when I put it back on.
