I'm rediculously tired of the assholes and flakers on craigslist, so I figure I might as well try here w/ the people I know.

We bought this car 2-3 weeks ago for my gf to drive. Her being the a-hole she is, after about a week, she decides she doesn't like not having power steering, so she wants something else.

/Rant.

The rundown on the car..

Located in Daly City.

It's a 97 Civic DX Hatchback.
5 Speed. No grinds. Clutch grabs strong.
Clean Title
131k miles
Bought off an old man from craigslist just 2-3 weeks ago.
Fresh spark plugs + oil change.
Tires have 80-90% tread on them.

Bad:
No power anything, no a/c.
There are dents on the passenger rear fender (in pics).
The last owner LOVED stickers and put bumper sticks on the dash, and hatch, so now there's residue on the dash and hatch, which can probally come out w/ goo gone.

Asking $3,400 FIRM. No trades.

wow 3400 for that car is bonkers man. maybe if it had a b16 in it. do you know how much the insurance on this car is alone for full coverage?

just something to consider, if you paid 3400 hundred and you're trying to make your money back then good luck pimpin, but I can tell you this is the last place you will sell that car.

lol. Yeah. Like w/ 240's and drift taxes, for some reason, EK hatch's and EG hatches have ricer taxes on them as well.

I'm sure this probally isn't the right place to sell a civic, since it's "wrong wheel drive," but I figure I might as well throw it out there anyways. lol.

without the damage on the passenger quarter panel this car could easily fetch 3400.

tell you this though. i always go to KBB.com if its a BONE STOCK CAR. which this one for example... if its not then it can be reasonable. but thats just my 02.

im sure you can always fool young kids for this price

you'd probably get more luck sticking a for sale sign on the window. most people that go on these forums do a lot of window shopping so they know prices better than random people on the street.
