1. how should i go about dealing with a stripped 12mm nut? i ended up stripping it even after spraying a liberal amount of freeze-off and wd-40, and then attempted to force it off with a breaker bar so its stripped pretty bad (around half or more of the edges on each side are stripped).

2. for the s13 rear shocks, how do u guys get your leverage to take off the 17mm nut that holds it at the bottom? i tried it with a breaker bar (only thing i have for that nut size) and haven't tried an impact gun yet but am wondering if there are any other alternative techniques.

thanks

1. Buy a tap and die set. Done and Done.

2. Put a little bit of M.A.N. into it in a counter-clockwise fashion. If you are seriously having a hard time with it, put some Coca-Cola on it, let it sit for a few minutes, then repeat process.

i ended up tightening the rear strut mounting bolt with a breaker bar not knowing it was supposed to be turned counter-clockwise from the opposite side, but it's all good
