S15 SR longblock,
less than 5k kilos (5000 kilometer = 3106.8559612 miles)
NEVER been installed in another car since it was pulled. Been sitting in previous owners storage and now its sitting in mine. Everything is super clean except for the obvious rust but it all cleans up very easy. There was slight ECD (from spilled coolant) in one plug hole but it cleaned right up with brake clean. Even the drops of oil Ive found while moving it around are super clean.

Asking for $1600
if you think that expensive consider the mileage and go look at the price of a longblock.
Googled: "s15 sr20det long block"

Throttle body/TPS
Upper oil pan
Valve cover/plug cover

S15 VSS (Speed Sensor)
I have an s13 lower oil pan as well, its pretty dented but I can throw it in if you want.

1) price is super high
2) just a longblock for that price wow
3) I can get a motorset for almost that
4) its not rebuilt, its not anything special
5) you will never sell it for 2k

and also citing other websites as a price comparison is stupid.

HAHA your mom is stupid.
This is coming from a guy that only has WTB posts and the one for sale thread you have doesnt even have pics of what your actually selling (passing a replica kit off with pics of a show car? nice). Did you take poll? or are you just opening your mouth to share your opinion? You listed one run on sentence as 5 different reasons. I didnt say m prices are firm, and if you can find a cheaper motorset go by it and sell it on here and make me look stupid, besides you joined what a week ago?

stalking me won't sell your engine.

Reporting a thread after YOU start some shit will do nothing but anger me. Throwing rocks and then hiding your hands is bullshit.
I am having a very bad day, so I strongly suggest you make this your last post in this thread if your intentions are not to purchase the items at hand.

Great comeback, not only are you asking too much for thing but you're also being an asshole when someone was being completely honest with you.

You would be LUCKY to make 1000 dollars off of this motor if anything.

The engine has been sitting for 2 years, and from the looks of it you stored it someone with moisture because of the rust on it, so not only does it need to be rebuilt.

You have NO WAY, and I mean NO WAY other than your word of mouth that it only has said miles on it, and even if it did. You have never ran the motor yourself so you have no proof it even works, you have nothing else that goes with the motor but what is pictured.

A LONG BLOCK SITTING FOR TWO YEARS I CAN GUARANTEE YOU HAS BAD SEALS ALL OVER.

You don't even have a compression test that is recent for the motor. So before you tell anyone their mom is stupid or some childish shit because they're telling you the truth then good luck with your sale.

Unless you're talking about 2000 canada converted to us dollars which is still too much. Your ass is CRAZY.

And I only looked at this thread because I was interested in said item.

yes I agree the your mom comeback fits any situation, but....

ONCE AGAIN PRICES ARE NOT FIRM.
so where the hell is everyone getting these $1000 S15 motors? I did alot of research before pricing this motor here on zilvia and yes maybe priced it high just to weed out the lowballers here on zilvia. Im sorry but I dont deal with shady fucks, I know the guy that sold me the motor is a very honest dude that not only ran a very well known (to zilvia) website and has built numerous cars over the years many of which were for or with zilvia members so maybe you should question his credibility not mine. Ive barely had the motor for a month. Ill do a compression test asap and I will get all new seals for whoever buys the motor, happy?

I honestly figured if the price was too high the mods wouldve said something.

Why can't we question your credibility? you have "0" trader rating. Not saying that you're not honest. New seals wouldn't cover it. it would need a rebuild no matter what. it's a long block. that's it. no ecu, turbo, smic, injectors?, tranny, etc. Maybe I'd but it for that price if it had all that with it.

true dat man.. and the title "ALMOST NEW, LOTS OF PARTS" is kinda bogus... yeah you have lots of parts... lots of parts missing.. and almost new dont seem quite cutting it from the looks of the motor. atleast clean it up and degrease it.

and as for the price... ehhh i know a whole motor set will run you about $4500 complete swap. so maybe $1600 might be reasonable enough..

It's not the mods job to police your prices man, I have NEVER seen a mod do that. Sorry, but $1600 for an SR longblock that has been sitting for forever and a day isn't going to fly regardless of what the compression is (regardless of whether or not it is a s-15 engine). The only way it would be worth that much IMO is if it came with a harness and ecu (a complete oil pan wouldn't hurt either). I don't normally come into peoples F/S threads if I am not interested, but you seem to be a little out of control in here. You're not completely gone, you just seem to be a bit un-reasonable IMO. I'll refrain from posting again as I have nothing more to say.

that was my whole logic behind the price, i never said it was a motorset and the title reflected exactly what i thought was alot of parts to come with a longblock, im not offended at all and appreciate the input i feel the price is now more fair. as for the whiole rebuild thing, in my opinion there is no way to verufy any info that a said seller has given you maybe you can trust someone elses word that has bouth something from him but the never means that your getting the same good deal. thats the hazard we all accept when buying things over the net. as for cleaning the motor up I did as best as i could with some rags and brake clean but shit you guys want me to take it apart and get it hot tanked and sell it in peices? i mean wtf i feel that any used motor going into a car thats going to be driven hard or regularly needs to be rebuilt regardless. but i guess thats just my two cents.

Im really done explaining my reasoning for this, the bottom line is I am trying to be honest about the motor and not fuck anyone or myself over in the process. I have been into S-chassis and tuning for over 10 years and i think 1600 is fair. I mean seriously I understand that everyone wants a deal on zilvia but if you go look around your not gonna find a s15 motor with complete harness and ecu for under 2k, or maybe you guys have methods of geting motors that I dont. I dunno but im charging what I would pay for it. If you saw the motor you would understand. Yes the first price was too high but the new price I think is very fair. Once again this is a forum so everyone is more than welcome to share their opinion. Maybe I should just part it out or keep it or put it in my buddys 510.

oh and I wasnt saying it was the mods job to police my thread, just expected them to have input you know? I mean Ive been on zilvia for a looong time and have seen them, on occasion, ask people to modify their for sale threads. However it does suck that some of peoples opinions here that i have come respect most over the years seem to disagree with me. But I see people selling S13 Sr's for $2500 and I wouldnt pay that much even fully built, sooo what would all you sell it for? maybe Ill auction it lol
