would anyone know why i cant get an rpm signal?
its s13 sr20det loom, on a s14de+t motor.

i believe the wiring loom is fine as it hasn't got any cut wires .
does anyone know which wire exactly is the tacho signal wire off the crank angle sensor so i can see if there is current ??
thanks!

What ECU are you running? In what Car?

I am thinking more the cluster doesn't like the signal from the ecu Or the clusters connector is bad. The engine wouldn't run without a rpm signal.

Did the tach work before with this setup or is this a new setup that only the tach doesn't work? When did it work last?

Hey mate,
problem solved, ECU was never getting RPM signal... I bridged the wire off the CAS ( first wire, its white) straight to the ECU to get rid of this problem, now my URAS D1 Blitz R-FIT works and ecu is registering RPM :)

thanks
