View Full Version : How is the starter relay wired?

Is the grey thing in this picture the starter relay? I looked all around the battery and can't see anything that has the right wire colours.
if not , what is it? thanks.
what shape /colour is the relay on 92 240sx?

it's blue, that looks like it in back. EL-12 in 93-94 fsm shows a schematic.
I believe it's referred to as the, interlock relay. DQM!
What problem are you having?

4 large wires. white is ground. white is 12v constant. black/white is from ignition switch. black/yellow is output to starter.
the darn ground is constant. sure enough, my car starts without clutch depressed. not sure if someone bypassed clutch switch or it is broken.

the interlock relay is the lower grey connector. 4 large wires. white is ground. white is 12v constant. black/white is from ignition switch. black/yellow is output to starter.
