rear light probloms.. helpp =) pleasee

ok so.. heres my problom.. im not goos with electrical or anything having to do with my problom so maybe someone could be nice enoug to throw some advice at me OTHEr then what i ahve tried.
ok so recetly my rear lights and my lights inside the car stopped working when headlight were on. ( not the brake lights those still work fine) i jsut changed my headlight switch.. fixxed my pop up problom and high beam problom but.. still no rear lights (i think running lights? is the word for it )
i am not sure what why problom could be .. i tryed other little wite boxes that go by the kick panel.. those didnt change nething..
im going to check the fuses inside my car like anyone would but.. i think it might be a relay i am not sure anyone got some advice?

i am going through the same exact problem. ive tried most of the peoples advice here.

1.TCU-check that out, that seems to be one of the most popular resolutions. its a white box near the fuse box under the drivers side kick panel.
2. check your wires behind your radio. mainly the red/blue, red/yellow, and according to my research, the green/black. make sure those are stable connection. dont leave any open leads.
3. Underneath the drivers side fender-the harness that passes through may have been rubbed by the tires and could have tampered with the connections.

best first step is to check your fuses. if you havent checked your fuses yet, do so before continuing on this post.
